IT Help Desk Technician

Tru Technical Partners is an MSP/MSSP technology support company located in Campbell, CA. We are looking for full-time Help Desk Support Engineer(s) working from home to provide end-user support remotely with an occasional onsite visit at the client’s location. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all Mac, PC, network hardware and telephone equipment to ensure optimal network performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone or via e-mail) in a timely manner and accurately document while providing end-user assistance where required.

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide remote/onsite technical support

Sr. Windows Sys Admin / Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Windows Sys Admin / Automation Engineer to support on-premises and Azure cloud systems as well as develop tools and frameworks to automate workflows and repetitive tasks. This position is within the IT Operations Systems Infrastructure team and will be responsible for engineering solutions to improve operational quality, consistency, and efficiency. In addition to Tier-3 operational support for server and storage infrastructure including Windows server OS, Active Directory, SCCM, GPOs, Citrix VDI, Microsoft 365, etc., a significant focus will be on automating application deployment, onboarding/offboarding procedures, system and account provisioning, IaaS and PaaS scaling, and so-on.

Desktop Engineer III

Job Description

The Desktop Engineer III is a member of the Desktop Group within Technical Services. The Desktop Engineer has a broad technical understanding of organizational processes, technological offerings, and service capabilities. The Desktop Engineer champions transformative technologies that are both business and patient care centric. The Desktop Engineer regularly consults and works with the Desktop Group Supervisor, Server Engineers, Network Engineers and Applications Analysts on large projects and complex issues and, in some cases, is the Project Manager responsible for the product deliverable. The Desktop Engineer is actively engaged in process definition, developing best practices, growing service capacity, and improving quality while adhering to all IS Division guidelines, policies and procedures, and directives.

  • Consults with the Infrastructure Supervisor on complex network related issues.
  • Responsibilities include planning, design, forecasting, deployment, documentation, capacity management, updates, and other ongoing daily management of the network infrastructure.
  • Plans, designs, implements, and supports scalable local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols (including IP and VoIP).
  • Conducts tests of network redundancy, resilience, and failover of network elements to ensure up-time standards are fully achieved.

  • Demonstrated experience in handling network device (i.e. switch, router) moves, adds and changes.
  • Demonstrated data cabling experience. Strong data center and data closet cable management skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of internetworking systems and architectures, protocols, and carrier services.
  • Demonstrable documentation experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visio.
